CLASS PREVIEW

Here’s a quick look at what we’ll be covering in this class.

You’ll Learn…

Brush Skills + Water Ratio

We'll go over how to use a single brush to paint tiny details and broad strokes. You'll also practice using different amounts of water with your paint to change the transparency of your color.

Watercolor paint set, color palette with hues, and color charts on a wooden surface.

Color Mixing Basics

You will learn about how to use your primary colors to mix secondary and tertiary colors, and how to make a broad range of tints and shades by mixing colors with white and black.

Art supplies on a wooden surface including a white textured paper with a green leaf design, a tan paper with a white leaf sketch, a white pen, a paintbrush, a roller brush, and a fine-point mechanical pen.

Mixing Mediums

We will talk about how to begin your paintings with a pencil drawing, and then we'll talk about some ways to add details and outlines with fineliner pens and white gel pens.
